You care about people, but the conversation just never turns. You talk with people every day — at work, in your neighborhood, across the table — yet you're left wondering how to move from ordinary talk toward Jesus. You may not need more training; you may need to find what's stuck.

Someone shares that they are afraid, discouraged, ashamed, lonely, or searching for God. You want to point them toward Jesus, but you are trying to remember the right verse or figure out what to say.

The problem is not always courage. Sometimes you simply need a few stories ready to go.

What they are

Stories People Can Remember and Share

Stories of Hope are short biblical stories that reveal who Jesus is and how he responds to real people. You do not need to preach, explain every detail, or have all the answers. You can share the story and let Scripture open the conversation.

The method

Learn the Story by Heart

You are not memorizing a performance. You are learning the movement of the story so you can share it accurately and naturally.

Hear It

Listen closely and notice how the story unfolds.

Map It

Identify the people, scenes, actions, and turning point.

Retell It

Practice sharing it from memory and check your accuracy.

Release It

Choose the people and situations where you will use it.

What you’ll leave with

  • Two Stories of Hope you can retell from memory
  • A simple method for learning more stories
